Alabama

Auburn University (AUA): No.

Troy University (TROY): No.

University of Alabama (UNA): Yes, the AL specimens only, until recently. Verifying identifications for the AL checklist and county level atlas is currently a higher priority. We plan to go back and georeference them later. Using Topozone.com in conjunction with State Hwy Map (and AL county maps when TRS is provided). We have been trying to georeference collecting events rather than specimens. 0 hrs/wk, 26411 specimens, 12 min/specimen, online but sensitive sp only to 0.1 degree, funding from AL Dept of Conservation, Lands Division.

University of South Alabama (USAM): Yes, ArcGIS, 10hrs/week, 1,700 specimens, not online but it is goal.

Florida

University of Florida (FLAS): No. We have the fields available and input the information when provided by the collector.

Florida State University (FSU): Invasive exotic plants, ArcGIS, 0 hrs/wk at moment, ca. 1500, funded by Florida Dept. of Environmental Protection Bureau of Invasive Plant Management.

University of West Florida (UWFP): No.

Georgia

University of Georgia (GA):

Valdosta State University (VSC): No.

Louisiana

Louisiana State University (LSU):

Tulane University (NO): No.

Mississippi

Gulf Coast Research Lab (HGCRL): Yes, ArcGIS, Garmin MapSource, USGS 7.5min quad maps, 5-10 hours/week, none

Mississippi State University (MISSA):

University of Mississippi (MISS): No.

University of Southern Mississippi: No.
